I hope that everyone enjoyed the week and weekend! It's very hard to believe that we are already almost at Thanksgiving! We had a productive week in kindergarten, as always. Students learned some new math station activities and made wonderful strides towards our learning goals in that area.

Snow! Wow--what a snowy, beautiful week! Though I moved from another snowy state, the early winter weather was a (welcome) surprise to me. We didn't get quite as much snow in Burlington, and I have to say I prefer white over the gray/brown tones that November usually brings. Students got so much better at putting on/taking off snow gear over the course of the past two weeks. Please keep sending your child with all winter gear, as the currently mild weather is sure to change! The photo below was taken at the afternoon recess last Thursday--these K-2 students are thoroughly enjoying the extra slippery slide (hence the line to get up to it)!
We had another PE Nut lesson last week, and students learned about trying to eat a colorful variety of foods at each meal. Your child should have brought home a note about Thursday's lesson. The rice cake pizzas were very popular!
I will post again this week...it was a busy week for me and I didn't get to take photos of all I wish to share about here. So, please stay tuned!
